Play Ball! - Collector's Baseball Gloves on eBay

It may be nearing the end of playoff season, but vintage baseball gloves are in full swing on eBay right now!

One of our customers recently brought in his prized collection of vintage baseball mitts for some lucky collectors to snatch up.If you're like me, you probably didn't realize a mitt some kid wrote his name all over back in 1968 would be worth anything today. But get a load of this -we sold a rare Rawlings Mickey Mantle glove and original ad for over $500!

And this wasn't any mint condition, never used glove, either. The original owner had scrawled his name in ink over the back, and it had certainly been played with. But that's the great thing about baseball gloves - the tough leather hide and stitching could probably survive an apocalypse and still manage to last through another ball game (not that there'd be anyone around to use it).
